I'm traveling 3 hours ALONE with the boys tomorrow. I plan to go just before nap time to increase the chance of them going to sleep. When my husband drives, I usually hop in the back seat with them to adjust their heads once they fall asleep but I obviously won't be able to do this tomorrow. Have you ladies found a head rest or other method that keeps their little heads from falling so far forward. Both their seats are supposedly reclining but we can't figure out how to recline them significantly. It's more like a little tilt. We have one Alpha Omega Elite and one Evenflo Triumph. Thanks for your help!

I tried and I tried and I tried some more to avoid the broken neck effect, and then I finally gave up. Both of my girls sleep with their necks slumped forward or sideways in the car, but they never seem to mind when they wake up. Good luck with your drive...

No suggestions here. I tried everything and nothing worked. I finally gave up. They sleep fine and don't complain so we just continue driving. Good luck with your drive!

Are they forward facing? Since we've switched them to forward facing we don't have that problem anymore, and we have Evenlo Triumph's. I always figured that they would move if they get uncomfy. Good luck with your trip, leaving at naptime sounds like a good plan!! Do they have any loveys they usually sleep with, when I drive back and forth to my parents (its 3 hours) I be sure to give them their loveys b/c it is a good sleep cue and keeps them occupied when they wake up.
