Hi Shelley and :sign0016: to TS. I am sorry you have been so sick. I was sick up until about 16 weeks and then it magically went away.

I just wanted to address your subchorionic hemorrage. I had one too and I was so scared by it. I had a terrible bleed at 6 weeks and thought it was a m/c. But I went rushing to the RE and they did an ultrasound and that is how we found out we were having twins. What a range of emotions that was. Anyway, I was told I would bleed on and off and I sure did. It would go away and then it would come back for a day and then it was gone by the time I hit my second trimester. I was told to take it as easy as I could (I had a toddler at the time) and drink lots of water.

Congrats on your twin pregnancy and I hope you have a healthy second and third trimester!!

If you don't think you can wait until Tuesday, call your doc tomorrow! Anxiety is such a debilitating emotion to have - esp. while you are already sick.

I hope all gets better ASAP. . .

This is just like what I went through. I wasn't just sick, I was SICK! :bad: I lost about 20 lbs. Ended up in bed for two months and only about 10 days of that was official bed rest after I had bad bleeding at 10 wks. I would say if the bleeding has come back just as bad, call your doc. The hospital left me with instuctions on when I should call them back, and I ended up doing so right after I got home from the ER. Turned out to be nothing, but they were very nice and helpful. Never hesitate to call!

    :hug99: Hang in there!

I also had a subchorionic bleed at 8 weeks, on Christmas Day, and thought I was miscarrying (the worst day of my life). They told me to go to bed for three days and take it easy, and to expect brown/dark blood afterwards as it's the old blood that has to make its way out. They could see on the ultrasound where the bleed was and that it was no longer bleeding. I was told to call if I saw pink or red blood again. I agree that you should call your doctor's after-hours service and talk to them if you're worried, as that's what they're there for. I've called at night and on the weekends a few times for various things and the nurses are always very helpful.

Hi there and congrats on your babies!! I had a bleed with my last pregnancy (singleton) and it lasted throughout my first trimester and then some. I was so nerve wracked I was a mess. Finally I called one of the midwives and asked them to please do a little more than say to take it easy and call if it gets worse. I know that there is little to do but "wait and see" in the beginning, but I found one to be a little more sympathetic than the rest. She did hormone levels and ordered a level 2 u/s. That is where we found the bleed and by that time it has resolved believe it or not!! I didn't bleed anymore after that. It was a long 4 months though and I was always stressed. If you have that much anxiety you need to go in or at least call and tell them how you are feeling. That is their job and what they get paid for. With my twin pregnancy I was really sick for the first 4 months. I had a good couple of weeks between that time and my "i am a hippo" phase. Now everything aches, I am always tired and hot etc. It goes by faster than you think though and will all be worth it in the end. Hang in there and keep us posted on your situation. Good luck B)

I'm sorry you're not feeling well. I had the scb also. It's scary bleeding..but everything worked out. As far as the morning sickness. I had this terrible. I had to go to the hospital for IV fluids for dehydration. I also lost a lot of weight. My saving grace was vitamin B6 injections. They helped with the nausea. I also drank gatorade to replenish my electrolytes. My OB prescribed me zofran and then phenergan. It's tough being sick all the time. I hope you find something that works for you.
