Hello!

Hello ladies! We are officially in the 2-4 Forum! Already?!?! Yikes! LOL! We survived another year-with an addition of a baby sister! Yay! My boys turned two today(Oct 18), and at this time last year, I was already pregnant with #3. No chances of that happening again...

I seriously can't believe how fast time is flying! My boys *KNOCK ON WOOD* are really good kids(overall-they have their moments), so I've generally thought of having twins as, dare I say it? Easy. :escape: They most certainly can push buttons, but overall-they've been such a joy! I seriously wish time could standstill and they can be little forever!

They are getting speech currently-and it's just so cute to hear them finally talking and just taking everything in. Their personalities are shining through. And I love seeing what they are really interested in. Currently-Nicholas is in LOVE with vehicles-trucks, planes, trains, cars, etc. It's just so cute. We are quickly accumulating a large hot wheels/matchbox collection. Anthony is my more mellow one-who loves books and music.

We are working on counting(Nicholas can do 1-10, pretty well, with me holding up my fingers), ABC's(I sing them every night before bed, and I just bought them a LeapFrog Alphabet toy), and we know our colors. They may not speak very well-but they at least know those things! As a preschool teacher, I feel like they should know more/do more, but I know they are still young and have plenty left of their childhood to learn all of that!

I've been lurking in here for quite some time-to know what lays ahead! Have to be semi prepared at least! I look forward to getting to know all of you(some of you again!).

I agree with you....it is cute when they start developing there vocab. It seems like it is something new everyday. They are so excited when they figure something out or learn something new.
