Hello! I've had this website bookmarked on my computer for months, but only recently have had time to sit down and really check it out! I'm impressed with all the good information on here, and bummed I didn't check it out sooner. Glad to be here now though. My background: my b/g twins will be six months this coming Wednesday! They were born at 33w6d, after I spent 10 weeks on bedrest, 2 months of that in the hospital. I endured a weekend on magnesium and almost had them at 28 weeks, but held out a little longer with the help of the terb pump. Both babies were breech, so c-section was my only option. Kind of funny... my DS, Evan, was Baby A my entire pregnancy... he was the one to cause me some trouble by using my cervix as a trampoline (that's how my OB liked to describe it)! I went into labor on Christmas Eve morning... when my OB "went in" to get them, he was so low she had to grab my DD, Ella (Baby B), first, so she is now Baby A. My OB jokes that it was payback to Evan that he was demoted to Baby B. LOL!!

As you can all relate, the past 6 months have been a complete whirlwind. I quit my job to be a SAHM. It's hard work! But I wouldn't change a thing. There are so many posts I can relate to and am thankful to read I am not alone! I look forward to hearing your stories and sharing mine!!

Welcome Katie! You are going to love it here! My Baby A & B had the same thing happen at the csection. They pulled out Baby A who was supposed to have IUGR and when they pulled out the other baby they were said "um, no this is the IUGR baby". Since we had named them months before based on this it was a few moments of confusion in the OR! Glad yours were easier to tell apart. ;)

Welcome! My babies too switched--we joked that in the womb Baby B was taking up all the room, so naturally she came out first (I had a c-section as well). This is a great resource! :)

Welcome!! @ your baby's "demotion"!! I was afraid that would happen to my babies too. We called them "Acorn" and "Butternut" and noted their different personalities in the womb for so long that I would have been peeved if they had switched!
