hello

Hello everyone I am new to Twinstuff and I'm addicted already!! I am 29 years old expecting identical twins. My husband and I have been trying to concieve for the past 5 years. This past year has been full of changes for us. We recently settled down in West Texas. I got out of the Army after 10 and 1/2 years of service and of course we went through the trials and tribulations of fertility treatments. We are so very excited and scared!!! I will officially be 20 weeks on Thursday. I worry everyday about these babies. I have no idea what normal feels likes and I would say I'm on the edge of insanity but other then that we are BLESSED, BLESSED, BLESSED. We have our big ultrasound tomorrow and plan on finding out the sex of the babies. Please keep us in your prayers that our appt will go well tomorrow.

I didn't find out we were having twins until my 19 week ultrasound (The one where we were supposed to find out the sex). Sometimes I think it was a good thing because I didn't have to worry through the 1st trimester. But hang in there! Time has flown by for me...as I'm sure it will for you!

Congrats! How exciting for you. This website is great, and will answer all of your questions, it has for me! I am just ahead of you, 25 weeks with identical twin girls! We are very excited, I have a 2 year old boy at home too.

Well definitly take care of yourself. Try to eat well, lots of protein, lots of rest, and don't do too much (although I should listen to my own advice...I am non stop)! If you feel like sitting on the couch, by all means do it

Keep us posted on your ultrasound, and hope all goes smoothly!

Congrats on your twins!! The worrying part is totally normal..I worry every day and panic before every dr"s appt...lol
I too will probably be finding out what we are having tomorrow!!! I can't wait, but anyway, good luck and congrats!!

We are having two little GIRLS!! they were both the same size 12 ounces everything looks good Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers!!!

 

Congrats on the two little girls!!! How exciting!!! I'm glad you found TS. I didn't until I was around 32 weeks, but I've been on everyday since.

 

Congratulations and welcome! I'm new here, too, but I feel like I get the best insight from everyone at this place! I'm glad everything is going so well for you, and I hope it continues - I'm in the same boat with worry! It's all I can do!
