Hello First Year

My girls are almost 3 months old and I finally feel like I have a few minutes to spare to get on here - I was on the BF forum once or twice out of desperation, but otherwise have been soooo busy I haven't had the time to join in. I recognize some of you from the Expecting forum - good to see you all again.

The girls are doing good. We had some problems with colic with Nadine, but she seems to be doing much better. I've been breastfeeding and then supplementing with formula (would love to get off the supplementation, but don't see it happening) and at yesterday's check-up Nadine weighed 9 lbs. 5 oz. and Esme weighed 7 lbs. 14 oz. Nadine is sleeping well, about 5 hours, and would maybe do more except Esme can't do much more than 4. Hopefully that will change as she gains weight.

That covers the basics of where we're at. Glad to be back!

Welcome to first year! Glad to hear your girls are doing well. Also, for less than 3 months old, I think they sleep as expected . I think after 3 months mine started to sleep longer, I hope yours will also.

It's going to get more fun in the next few week, I think mine started to notice each other after 3 months also.

Enjoy them and keep up the good work with breastfeeding and pumping.

Welcome! Sounds like you guys are doing great and the girls are growing like weeds. Hopefully they'll be sleeping through before you know it.

 

Hi! Welcome to the first year! It's a crazy time but so much fun. Sounds like you're doing great! Mine were sleeping about the same at that age. I'm still dealing with them waking at 4-5am for a bottle. I can't wait for them to sleep all the way through.
