Hello Care bears

OMG....The one and only thing one of my dd's asked from santa was a Care bear, NOBODY SELLS THEM....Really? Yeah ebay,amazon have them but they are either used or way to much money for a flipping plush stuffed animal. I had no idea that you counld get them anymore My baby is really going to be upset, I've been working on changing her mine but I know she will still be pretty upset since Santa was suppose to get it for her :gah:

 

Could you not get a used one and just wash it? I bet she wouldn't notice it wasn't new. I'm sorry you can't find what you want for her, that sucks

ETA: Did she want a plush Care Bear specifically? Does it have to be large? I had a quick look and found Grumpy Bear and Heartsong Bear, both of them are around $10 new but they are only 8" and 7" respectively. There is also this set of mini figures for very cheap (only $0.55, although shipping would make it up to $5). If she likes playing with little dolls/small world things she would probably enjoy them.

It's your best bet if you want to get it by Christmas... and if you have prime... not sure you'll get it in time otherwise It's really sad we can't find them anywhere anymore

 

Thanks ladies, She wants Shar bear the purple one with the lollypops on her tummy I found someone that might have a mini one that she will give me thats used but I dont know if it will work out yet, if not she just isnt going to get one

 

It's the second one I linked, isn't it? I know it's not cheap, but if she doesn't want anything else, I'd get it... it's not $90 as some others at least... plus she'd get a dvd!

 

Looked again and found a few that might work; This one is only $7, although it says that the talking does not work any more, and it doesn't say how large it is. This one also talks and is 13". The cheapest one is $13 and lists it as 'very good' condition, or for $23 you can have 'like new'. Finally this one is 9" and does not talk. $16 for 'good' condition or $20 for 'very good'.
Personally I would go with the second or third one, and decide between the price options based on how much you have in your budget and how likely you think she is to notice things like tags (I don't think my kids would give them a second glance).

HTH a little, I agree that if it's the one thing she wants it might be worth paying a bit over the odds for it.

One of my friends found a Share bear and Cheer bear(used)I washed them and they look great...They're small ones but will be a perfect stocking stuffer and they were FREE Thanks for taking your time to help ladies!!!! :smilie_xmas_116:

Another thing you might try if those dont like up is build a bear has some carebear ish bears in the store

 

Yeah I tried there, I was shopping around yesterday at walgreens and It was the 7th walgreens I had been to in 2 days looking for precious moments stuffed animals and the last one I went too had 2 carebear cousins...I was SHOCKED, I didnt see them at the other 6 stores I went to and trust me I looked at everything, and yes I still bought them but I am thinking of giving them to my friend that found the two carebears that my daughters wanted, she has two little girls also but I dont think they r in to carebears like my girls.

 

Just give them to your girls, they'll love them

 

For the future check out rummage sales. We have about 10 care bears we got from different sales. Some big some small. I just washed them and they look fine. I loved the care bears so much when I was little so when I first saw one at a sale, I was determined to share them with the boys!
