Hello all...

I've lurked around the site for a day or two now and decided to register myself. From what I can tell, there's only a handfull of dads.

Anyway, my fiancee and I are expecting twins October 26th, 2009.

It's still amazing to think that we're having twins. I think the day we went for our first follow-up vists (and first ultrasound) will be embedded in my memory for a lifetime. It's definitely exciting, but it's going to be quite an interesting challenge for some time. I just hope that there aren't any complications, especially in regard to how early they may be born. I tend to read too much sometimes, but of course it always good to be well-informed.

Congratulations! We can give you plenty of advice on how to keep your twin momma happy! :lol: There are so many little things you can do as a dad that make such a BIG difference.

Glad you decided to post

My husband still talks about the day we found out we were expecting twins...that appointment is not something we will ever forget!

Actually I showed her the site last night after I got home from work and she signed up just a little while ago... She wasn't going to because she isn't too familiar with forums, but she decided to afterall.

congrats on the babies! No, there aren't that many men that visit the site...must be a man thing :lol: But, we will open our arms to you as well as your fiancee...we are all in the same boat not knowing what to expect with twins

Congrats on your twins!! It is sooo exciting to see a dad sign up. My husband is very excited, but would never sign up. He's just not the type. So its really cool that you did. Good luck to you and your fiance!

Haha, I'm sure the original news pales in comparison to the actual day they're born. Of course, that's probably the case in any pregnancy.

Like any other parent-to-be, I'm just hoping that everything works out for the best. As I said above, I tend to read too much and scare myself with what could go wrong. The twins are my first (and probably going to be my only) kids, so I've never dealt with everything that comes with the territory. All I can do is be there for my fiancee and take things together one day at a time, I guess.
