Heartrate too high?

I went in this morning for an u/s. I am 8w5d today. Both babies are doing great, however Baby A's heartrate was 200bpm (Baby B is 180bpm). I know that 200bpm is the very top of the chart, so I am wondering if I should be concerned about Baby A. My dr didn't seem concerned, so I guess I shouldn't worry too much. He even said that Baby A was really starting to wiggle around! But I thought I would get an opinion from some of you ladies.

Thank you for your comments. This is all so new for me, and I seem to be worrying over every little thing  .

I'm not sure if it's too high or not, but if the baby was wiggling around alot, maybe that's why it was so high? I'm sure if there were any reason for concern, your doctor would have mentioned it to you.

I'm not sure they are as accurate that early on in pregnancy? I know my first couple ultrasounds had the highest heart rates - somewhere between 165-180. Beyond the halfway point, they were pretty consistently in the 135-160 range.

Ditto Twinlove. The baby's HR could have been extra accelerated due to all that exercise. ;)
But yeah, my twin's heartbeats were pretty high at first--170s--but have been mostly in the 130s to 150s since then.

Mine were in the 170s at 8 wks. It didn't phase the U/S tech. She said the potential for human error when collecting that data is common. She said sometimes they measure too close to the heart. Also, the earlier in the pregnancy, it is common for the heartrate to be higher. Of course, these days you can find conflicting information on the internet to anything. If the doctor is not concerned, I wouldn't worry, but be ready to address that concern right away next appointment if you don't like that reading. One thing I've had to become better at is asking questions. I have a great doctor but she relies on me to ask her for information. A little frustrating but I've adapted. I ask a lot now and I'll give her credit - she never shows impatience.

Thank you ladies for you replys. I am feeling much better, and I have no doubt my dr would have said something if he was concerned. Btw, I read that around 9 weeks the heartrates peak, then start to come back down and level out, so I am very curious to see where they are at next Tues.
