Heartbeats at 28 weeks

    Hi ladies,

    I had a growth ultrasound done last week at 28 weeks. I was told that Baby A was 2 lbs, 13oz and Baby B 2 lbs, 14oz. Both were measuring five days ahead of me. Heartbeats were 150 and 170. I thought 170 was a little on the higher side but the nurse said those were good heartbeats. Does that sound right to you? Thank you.

    Both good heartbeats. :) My oldest DD's was always in the upper 160's and a few times 170.

    They sound fine. I was told up to 180 was typical. Glad everything is going well.

    my sons were usually in the 160 and 170's and the dr said it was all ok ;o)

    Since I am on the heart monitors with both of my babies 24/7 - their heart rates flux between 120 and 180 - they are not conerned about that - they start to worry when they go below 110 and when they go above 190 ...I see them all day long - so sounds like that is "normal" to me....but I am not a doctor.
