I know.. only one.. but geez! When it rains it pours. He did just get TWO teeth last night. I gave him motrin at bedtime (7:30pm) and tylenol when he woke at 10pm. He's been up since then and it is 12:15am. I've tried to put him down three times but he just screams. In the past CIO has worked and he only cries for less than 15 minutes, but something is different today. I can't imagine that it is the excedrine migraine pills I took almost 12 hours ago. I know I don't normally do caffiene, but this is so unlike him. This is very frustrating in that I haven't been sleeping well lately and I don't get a break during the day. He has always been such a good sleeper but as we speak, he is just screaming. So not like him.
SOrry.. needed to vent. I just don't know what to do.. I've done all I can. When he is up he is happy and fine.. but he is rubbing his eyes and is very tired.

I don't have any. I could never get it where it was needed with the twins, so I never bought any.. been thinking about it lately though. I might need to give it one more try.. but since I don't have any tonight, it's a moot point.

Thanks. I am SO not a night owl.

Sorry Jackie. If you dont do caffeine much maybe he is reacting to it. But probably not. :pardon: I know that around 11 months when mine would night wake that was the hardest age to get them back to sleep. They were too young to reason with and old enough to let you know how they feel about putting them back in the crib. I hope you got back to sleep.

I hope tonight goes better Jackie. We've had a lot of night waking lately too. Eli cried for one hour last night....

    7:30 bedtime for all
10:00 - 12:30 Evan woke and refused to go back down until 12:30.
    2:00 - Audrey woke
3:30 - Evan woke, fed him.
    6:45 - Audrey woke. potty
    7:30 twins up for school.

Jakie i have the same problem; charlotte has been waking up nightly and i try it all CIO/soother-nothing-i finally broke down and gave her a bottle-there ya go! she was hungry;) We think they dont need to eat at nite but with teething and growth spurts sometimes thats all they need/want. When it gets SUPER bad and ear infection or something i have her sleep in the swing and i plop myself on the couch for a LONG nite ahead-

I always gave them 3 nights, motrin, soothing, feeding, etc when they would wake at night. After 3 nights it was back to CIO (unless very sick or something). I hope tonight is better!
