He said a sentence!?!

Jackson is a hard-core babbler. He has a decent vocabulary, but loves to babble nonsense. Today, he was saying a word similar to one of his favorite nonsense words, so I was repeating what he was saying, playfully. He kept repeating it very slowly and passionately until I got it just right... "aye-guh-bo" Then my mom said to him "you're such a good boy" and again, he smiled and said "aye-guy-bo". My mom and I looked at each other and said "I good boy?!" and Jack repeated it about 20 more times... bashful and proud all at once! Now, if you ask him "Who's a good boy?", he will say his version of "I good boy".

My mom has been here for a week and tells the boys they are "good boys" all the time. Even so, this still amazes me. Their development is soooo rapid right now-- amazing!!!!!!!

(Yes, I realize "I good boy" is not grammatically correct, but the kid is only 15.5 months old... anything remotely resembling a sentence is pretty amazing to me right now! )

 

Super cute! I loved that stage. Everything is still so new and fun for them.

 

Oh I love it! Hearing them talk is so neat!
