He may be obsessed

    "He" here could be my DS or my DH! Except that I KNOW DH is obsessed - with Transformers, that is. DH has collected them since he was a kid. Right now his old 1984 toys are covering the top of my piano. Now he has DS hooked! We got him his first Transformers for Easter and he fell in love. He and DH watch all the old cartoons and my DS can name them all. He also watched the movies (I gave DH some leeway since he really wanted to share this with DS, even though these would normally not be allowed) and knows all the ones from those.

    He previously had 6 Transformers that he got at Easter and for his birthday. Then, he got one from St. Nick on St. Nick's day (Dec 6th) and another EIGHT for Christmas!!! We only got him two, but then other people got him some. He now has a total of 15 Transformers!!! They completely fill a rubbermaid tub he keeps by his bed. Plus, almost everything he got that wasn't an actual Transformer was Transformer themed. He got a Transformers bike and bike helmet, a Transformers race car track, a couple Transformers figurines, and a Optimus Prime costume. I would feel bad that he didn't get more variety except that when you asked him what he wanted the only thing he would say is, "Transformers. Lots of Transformers." :rolleyes:

    He was cracking me up at my DH's uncle's house. One of the "big boys" asked DS what he got for Christmas and he said Transformers. The older boy said he loved Transformers and he had a bunch. DS asked which ones and, as the boy named them, DS said, "I have that one" to each one. Then he started rattling off the others he had. The older boy was amazed and turned to me and said, "He really does like Transformers, doesn't he!" :laughing:

    Funny! My son asked Santa for Transformer underwear! (Which he loves!!!)

    So cute! Sounds like Christmas made your son VERY happy in the toy department! :)

    :wub: My DH is another one who is obsessed with Transformers and Star Wars. He said if our son turns out to like them as much as he does, he would weep with joy.
