Michael is driving me crazy! Sure kids, toddlers need to explore, but he is driving me crazy by crumbling all of his food into little bits. It makes a mess and he crumble, crumble, crumbles! He takes his hands and works his fingers together to make a solid piece of food into little bits. Do you know what I mean? I know he is exploring textures but PLEASE!

    Anybody else have little crumblers?

    Bridget  :umm:

My Audrey does the same thing......STILL:) Not all the time, but occasionally when she thinks I'm not looking. I actually think it is cute now. She loves to feel texures in her hands and loves to smear things. She is a great finger painter, dough kneader, bread crumbler....ect. Aiden on the other hand cannot stand getting his hands dirty. I'm sorry I'm not much help, hopefully he will outgrow it for your sake, but if he doesn't......I'm right there with ya.:)

    No crumblers here!

I have throwers so it's no so hard to clean up.

    Hopefully it's a short phase.

my dd Lorien does this but i have come to realize she only does it when she doesn't like what i have given her to eat or she is full and doesn't want to eat anymore. it hasn't gotten to the point that it makes me too crazy. i think because i have come to realize why she does it. so i take her tray away or give her something else to eat.
