We have the boys cribs right next to each other. This morningDH went to get them out of their beds and Dylan was in Brandons crib. he asked me If I did it and I said no (i dont think so anyway) ( stressed with the job loss so anything possible) anyway we put them down for their nap and DH went to get them and said ok did you put him in there this time? I said NO ) I knew for sure this time i didnt) so I put him back in his and gave his brother something to play with and not Dylan went out the door and watched him swing his leg over both cribs and pull him self up and slide into Brandons.

IM worried that hes going to do this over the front and fall and hurt himself? Im not sure whhat to do. Hes way to young for a toddler bed and i cant drop the tail on the crib b/c we thats the same as the toddler bed. I would invest in a crib tent but I cant afford to now with DH lossing his job:(

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

I know its not... but that is so cute! Maybe they want to sleep together?

My guys hated being seperated, they HAVE to sleep together, they have their own queen size bed with rails on the sides, and the snuggle up to one another at night... very cute!

I'm sorry but that is way to adorable. Maybe you should put them together and see how it goes.

Hes doing it when he wakes up in the am and after naps not before bed... Buts its so funny to see him do it. Im just afreiad next its going to be out of the front of the crib and wondering the house in the middle of the night......

Lily was showing signs of climbing out of the crib, so I bought a crib tent off walmart.com.

Kaylee did this as well and thaqt is when I put them in twin beds. Kaylee was a few months older. I would suggest keeping them in their cribs as long as possible. I wish I had a crib tent to give to you, but I didn't go that route and now I am kicking myself.

Check out www.freecycle.org. You can post a wanted request for a crib tent and hopefully get one for free. Otherwise is there a way that you could put the cribs right next to eachother for now? He might just want to be next to his brother and not escape.

I was thinking, maybe put them long side together and they can hold hands through the slats or something. If you deny him access to his brother, you might have more waking issues....if they don't seem to care, maybe allow them to sleep together....For me it's about picking my battles and you have enough battles going on that you don't need to add more! :hug99: Good luck!!!
