Logan has not, at almost 16 months, ever eaten cut up fruit (no peaches, no pears, no apples, no mangos, no pineapples - only bananas). We have been giving him baby food fruit every night while his brother scarfs down a whole fruit cup. Every.single.night I put pieces of fruit over on his tray and when they touched his tongue he would make the most awful face like it was poison. Tonight, HE ATE THE FRUIT!!! I've never been so happy to see someone eat a pineapple, then a passion fruit, then a peach :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

That's great! Some babies are just funny about the texture of fruit -- but woohoo, I hope he gets used to it soon!

Yes, I actually started with those and they were a no go too. I told his teacher at daycare this morning. She's going to watch him at lunch and see if he eats any there.
