I was able to get my ins tonight and went and had the blood test to confirm my pg.. I never saw these numbers with the boys so this is new to me

My last period started on Sept 24 2007

Putting me at 6 weeks today..

my levels today were 3098.6 according to the paper that puts me at 4-5 weeks

so does this mean the baby is 4-5 weeks but my period was 6weeks ago or is this level from the start of my last period.. the lady in the lab didnt know and im having a heart attack thinking the levels are to low...

What were your levels at 6 weeks from the start of your last period?

I think that's an acceptable range...you might have ovulated late after your period or implantation might have taken longer. My levels were really high this time around... at 5 weeks I was at 21,000!! :icon_eek: which made me think I was having twins! I think normal for 5 weeks is around 5,000.... but when you are talking about doubling every 48 hours or so...you could be at 6,000 tomorrow and 12,000 by the end of the week, which would put you in an okay range. I wouldn't stress about it too much. If your levels were super low, like less than 200, then I'd be concerned. it's not so much the level, but the fact that it's increasing appropriately. some women's levels just go up a lot faster than others.

I don't really post on this board, but just wanted to tell you not to worry about the beta numbers! They always stressed me out with my other pregnancies and were never really a good indicator of anything anyways. I didn't get betas with this pregnancy because I decided not to stress myself out. I think your number sounds fine!

I'm glad it is confirmed that you are indeed pregnant! Don't worry about the numbers.. all they show you is that you ARE indeed pregnant!

I never got my numbers with either pregnancy, so I never had anything to worry about. But I agree with Jackie, "the number show you ARE pregnat" and that is the exciting part!!
