I did blood work yesterday as they wanted to see numbers, and I got the results back this morning.....108,000!!!!

They said that the number is really high!! So either I am further along, or it is another multiple pregnancy!!

I have an u/s June 11th for some more answers...yikes another week to wait!!!!

Here's a chart that might help!
Guideline to hCG levels during pregnancy:
hCG levels in weeks from LMP (gestational age)* :

    3 weeks LMP: 5 - 50 mIU/ml
    4 weeks LMP: 5 - 426 mIU/ml
    5 weeks LMP: 18 - 7,340 mIU/ml
    6 weeks LMP: 1,080 - 56,500 mIU/ml
    7 - 8 weeks LMP: 7, 650 - 229,000 mIU/ml
    9 - 12 weeks LMP: 25,700 - 288,000 mIU/ml
    13 - 16 weeks LMP: 13,300 - 254,000 mIU/ml
    17 - 24 weeks LMP: 4,060 - 165,400 mIU/ml
    25 - 40 weeks LMP: 3,640 - 117,000 mIU/ml
    Non-pregnant females: <5.0 mIU/ml

    Hello everyone!!

So I was going through some notes from when i was pregnant with the twins. I kept track of all of my HCG counts. At 5 weeks 3 days my HCG levels were 33, 749. Now at that point we thought it was just twins, but it was actually triplets! So, what do you all think????

WOW I want this week to go by so fast!!!!!

I think every woman and pregnancy is different! I hope you get exactly what you want though!
With my current pregnancy (which is just 1) my HCG #s were 24,000+ on one day, and 2 days later had risen to 33,000+ At that time I was 6 week exactly and then 6weeks 2 days.
Going off the numbers alone my doc though "multiple pregnancy" but she made me wait 2 whole weeks before doing a scan! luckily for us it was one as this was a complete suprise!

Honestly, I think mine were around that level with Julianna...then again I did have a lot of bleeding in her pregnancy, so who knows what happened. I think the numbers have such a range, and with doubling the numbers I think twins vs. singleton could really vary by individual. It'll be exciting for you to find out!

that seems pretty high also.... i believe with the twins at 6 weeks it was 60,000 for me.... this was before we even knew it was twins since i was having bleeding issues.... Good luck with the ultrasound and i can't wait to hear the results.

I thnk the doctors like to wait to week 7 for the u/s because that's when the heart/s start beatig and they can also confirm that the fetus looks viable. So if you're not sure of the date of your LMP that's probably why.

I also go to a small hospital and routine ultrasounds are only 1 day/week so if you missed this week, they'll make you wait!
