Having a hard time waiting

I still have to wait until Wednesday 10/1 to find out about my little ones and whether or not baby b has made it - this is killing me not knowing, and just waiting.

I think I am just looking for some positive words to help get me through.

This is my FIRST POST here on TS... wanted to let you know you are not alone in the waiting! You are almost there!

I too am waiting to go back for a U/S on Oct. 7 to see if my Baby B is doing better. I had a U/S this past week, baby B was measuring 1 week smaller and nuchal didn't look good, so we're going back for TTTS screening (they are mono/di). They are only 12 weeks so TTTS is some scary stuff this early!

Try to focus on the positive and remember that there are plenty of instances when things correct themselves in there. Be strong! Just a few more days.

I'm sorry you are also going through this - I do believe what is meant to be, will be, I just want to know what that is ya know. I got the results of the nuchal today but they aren't 100% conclusive bc baby b was so small - they are thinking Trisomy 18 but can't say anything for certain yet. The US will tell us more on the 1st. If you need to talk, I'm here anytime hrm...

Having never been in your situation, any words I could offer would, I fear, sound weak and insufficient. I am praying for you and your little ones, and sending you hugs.

 

So today is the day - weird bc I was hoping today would come fast so I could have a clue as to what is going on with my little ones, now I am dreading going in and getting bad news.
I will update on here and let everyone know how it goes.....

Hi Everyone,

Ok so I went today and Baby B is still going strong!! Measuring behind still, but the doctors are a little more hopeful because now instead of 2+ weeks behind it is about 1 week behind. Because of the inconsistencies with the Nuchal Scan they are suggesting I have an amnio just to be better educated on what/if anything is wrong and how to live with it all.

Has anyone had this with their twins and if so, did you have any complications? I am scared but tonight a little more hopeful than I was before.

Baby A is doing great - their heart rate is 137 and Baby B is 153 - I'm told both within normal, Baby B is a little faster bc they are smaller.

Thank You Ladies for all of your support - I couldn't have gotten this far without it!!!!!

 

I've been following your posts and I am so glad to hear your good news. I too had a very similar situation where at 7 weeks I found out I was having twins but was told to expect the demise of one because of small size and heartrate. Well, I had a very scary pregnancy but I have 2 beautiful girls as a result. I believe that you will have 2 beautiful babies as well. Stay positive and take care. Feel free to pm me if you want.
