I am expecting but I am trying to come up with the mind set that I may not get the belly back.

But I wanted to know what everyone else has done or is attempting to do.

    Thanks

It took a full year for my belly to get back to normal. Don't expect it to happen overnight, it's slowly gotten as big as it is and it will take even longer for it to go back to normal.

I did a lot of pilates and just general weight loss and exercise during my girls first year. It helped a lot but I still have some extra skin.

I fortunately did get "rid" of my belly pretty fast... At my 6wk followup, I weighed at 2 pounds more than my prepregnancy weight. I gained 45 pounds during the pregnancy. I have strech marks though, but I look pretty much back to normal size. I did breastfeed for 6 weeks too.

I took me at least a year as well. It was months before I even had the energy to exercise.

Another one here who took a full year before I felt things were somewhat "normal."

Same here, the last thing i want to do when the kiddies are in bed is excersize! I have started power pramming, so i'm hoping it fixes things as i just can't face the gym!

My belly went back about 6 months in but I lost all the baby weight by 6 weeks pp. However, I've been on a weight roller coaster ever since and now when I gain weight it goes right to my tummy instead of my butt. Maybe my butt ran out of room! :pardon:

I'm 7 months PP and still have the baby belly. I have about 5 more lbs. to lose, but I don't think my belly will ever be the same again. I've never had a weight problem, so not being able to lose the weight is hard for me.

My boys are 5 months old and I still have about 25 lbs to lose (I gained 60lb). I'm carrying it all over, but definitely in my belly. I have always struggled with my weight, but recently rejoined the gym and plan to wean my boys over the next month. I'm one of the few women who can't lose weight while BFing b'c I'm hungry and have crazy cravings.

Once I lose all the weight, I plan on having a tummy tuck. Every woman is different, but I've seen my sisters' bellies and they never had twins. We have some bad genes in our family :(.

I gained 32 lbs and had lost all the weight within 2 weeks. I never got stretchmarks but I still have some extra skin. I had my babies 6 months ago and have been breastfeeding the whole time. I have not started working out, there is just no time for that!

Second pp, workout does help. I also rub coconut oil on it and take msm. I think my belly looks pretty good after 4 babies (including the twins).
