    I am tired of everyone expecting me to do anything and everything they think I should be doing and I am tired of people and their darn comments. I am supposed to be going to a birthday party right now where DH husband and all my friends are already drunk <_< I got sent home from work early cuz I can barely walk (pelvic bone is killing me) and everyone calls and says oh bring your bathing suit and swim I am like hello My pelvic bone is killing me that sounds like no fun at all...plus it is a bunch of people I don't know I really wanna go swim it up after gaining 50lbs waring my bathing suit from last year that fits a butt cheack and one nipple :blink: but no they just wanna keep bugging and bugging cuz they swam all the time with their pregnancies.. And another lady at work today wants to make a big deal about how I am too small to be carrying twins and blah blah blah well the doc thinks I am great for your information doctor nosy lady...Sorry guys have to vent no one else understands thanks for listening I feel better :hug99:

    Vent away. There is nothing like a bunch of non-pregnant people trying to tell you how it is!!!!! (((HUGS)))

    That sounds horrible. Yeah, don't let people [especially ones who don't know you] try to push you and bug you into things you're not comfortable doing. I wouldn't even want to see myself in a bathing suit at this point muchless go flaunt myself around a big group of drunken strangers.

    No worries about the venting. That's another reason what we're all here for ;)

    [SIZE=10pt]Vent, vent away!

    Funny how others seem to know what we should and shouldn't do.

    Hopefully you stayed home and relaxed

    April :)

    I have 7 friends that are all pregnant right now as well, one with the exact same due date as me. Do you know how sick and tired I get of hearing them compare themselves to me and to make suggestions that they have no idea about. I know it is all in good nature, but they must not listen when I tell them that my pregnancy is very different and that I need to have so many hours of rest a day etc. I get the swimming comments all of the time as well as "you don't look like you are having twins". I also to my dismay got a lot of people who had the nerve to RUDELY say "thank god it's you and not me" or "OMG I would kill myself". I actually have distanced myself from one of my friends after she continued making those comments in front of my husband and I and was pointing us out to everybody at her son's b-day party. She also said to me that "identical twins were creepy". My husband and I now joke that we are gonna send the boys over to stand outside her bedroom window at night :blbl: People can be so rude and thoughtless and I am sure this is just the beginning. We have a nine month old daughter as well so the comments about having our hands full etc. are true but I feel like saying "duh einstein, thanks for the info we never thought of that before!!!" Sorry I have obviously been needing to vent for a while as well.

    Yeah, I understand. If you don't feel well don't go. I've worn myself out trying to even do social things sparingly. I'm only 17 weeks tomorrow, and I have elephant ankles :(. And., I don't know about you but hanging out with drunk people would really irritate me as I can't drink or have coffee.

    On a side note, if you can get a used maternity bathing suit swimming is the one excercise my perinatologist really recommends, he says it is a good way to get a bit of excercise while taking some stress off the body, or even sitting in a pool or a bathtub fully immersed for a while. I haven't tried it though, just wish I had a private pool and a maternity bathingsuit so I could try it...
