Have to go back to work soon!

Originally, we thought that we might be able to scrape by if I stayed at home with our three kids. Recently, we've realized there is no way we can afford it until we sell our house and get into something more affordable for one salary. Our house is not selling, needless to say. So now I have to go back to work! :( I'm so upset about it! Plus...I went on maternity leave early and used all of my year's vacation because I couldn't work past 34 weeks. I feel like I'm going back to work just when the girls will start to play and interact more. This sucks! Are any of you out there working moms of three or two even? I did it with one, but three???!!!

Next problem...I still look pregnant...very pregnant. Prepreg I was 145, and now I'm 6 wks pp and weighing 175. I used to be a size 6! Now I can't even put on a non maternity pair of pants because I'm such a weird shape. I don't know how I'm going to wear any kind of work clothes! Any suggestions? What is this binder thing I read about? And what are some good supportive undergarments I can wear to look more normal in clothing?

I'm overall a little depressed about all of this right now! HELP!

 I am so sorry Trish. :( I wish you could have stayed home with the kids. I hope that your house sells soon and you guys get into a place that allows you to stay home.

As for your body... my body (stomach area) has never returned to what it was before. What is this binder you write of? I'm not sure what that is, but I do wear a spanx like shirt pretty much at all times. It does the job for now because even with weightloss I haven't been able to get that area back in shape.

I read it on this topic: http://www.twinstuff.com/forum/index.php?s...=125966&hl= It seems like a lot of people know what it is. Not me! If it works, I want to know what it is! I guess I need to go spanx shopping!

I know exactly how you are feeling. Our original plans were for me to stay home with the kids, but DH was laid off toward the end of my leave so I had to go back. It took me a long time to get over it and there are still times that I am sad about it. Feel free to PM me if you need someone to chat with.

Ugh! I know exactly how you feel!! I debated over going back and just started last Monday back at work after spending 6 glorious months with my LO's. It was really hard, but is slowly getting easier each day. Hopefully your house will sell soon!!

The binder....it's a gigantic piece of elastic with velcro. Most dr's use it for people who have abdominal surgeries. My OB group gave each c-section patient one to help the stomach muscles heal better after delivery. I had to wear it for 2 weeks - almost 24/7. It really did help!

    GL!
