Alex refuses to lay down and let me change her diaper. She screams, slaps, and flips over! We just bought some huggies convertibles and I love them already. It is a pull up or a regluar diaper in one. Is anyone else using these or having issues changing thier little ones? I was wondering how do you get them to lay still...or can you? I have tried everything.

I haven't tried them. It can be a wrestling match to get Liam to stay still for a changing!!

Yup same here! Mine have started crying and screaming when I'm changing them, like I'm wiping them with razor blades! And as soon as we are done, they are all smiles again. You would think they would be used to diaper changes by now, right?

Never tried them, but the only way I can get them to lay still is if I let them play with their brush. They never get to play with it unless they are on the changing table and for now it is super exciting to them! They like to chew on it, bang it against the wall, examine it closely. I don't know why it rocks their world, but for now it works to keep them still, keep their hands out of their dirty diaper (ew ew EW!), and give me microsecond to get them clean and a new diaper on. Oh the other thing I do is sign really silly stupid songs so they are laughing at me but stay laying down. GL with the new diapers. hope they work out for you!

Seriously! I'm like, "aren't you used to this by NOW??" You'd think after 3,672,082 diaper changes they'd realize this is a pretty regular thing and that if they lay there without wriggling it will be over a whole lot faster!

Oh yes, diaper changes and clothing changes are a struggle, for sure. They want to flip over and crawl away. I also let them play with something while changing their dipes, that usually distracts them for a bit.

Didn't even know such a thing existed...the convertible diaper. What sizes do they run?

I'm constantly wrestling one or the other for diaper changes and runny nose wipes.

I have the same problem w/Liam & Olivia!!! It started about a month ago!!! what works for me is I sing to them or I make silly faces while I'm changing them. (only works 80% of the time) At least it's better than nothing!!!

We had saved all of our b-day and valentine's cards. We keep them tucked into the basket w/ the wipes and diapers and stuff. We usually hand one to them the minute the squiggling starts and they are entertained for a few moments. I guess having different ones to look at keeps them momentarily entertained. We have to be pretty fast though.
