Well, after the four day Thanksgiving holiday staying home with the babies, I have to say that SAHMs are amazing! My husband and I were exhausted by Sunday night - we don't know how you do it by yourselves all week! Granted, working outside the home and putting them in daycare comes with its own set of problems and issues, but it takes a very special person to be a stay at home mom. I admire all of you!

It is exhausting, isn't it?? I'm in my third week (first 5 days in a row) as a SAHM. I'm loving it, though. It has been fun, annoying, challenging, interesting ... so many things that a full-time job can only offer briefly.

I will say, though, for me staying at home, so far, is MUCH easier than taking them to and from day care, doctor's (because of illnesses) and working. Physically and mentally, I am much more relaxed now. I love not having to deal with the chaos of witching hour after work.

Since I've been home, both of my girls have started doing so much ... one is now crawling, the other is close, both are pulling up to stand, one is cruising, both can do a number of interactive games. I'm not sure if it's coincidence or just my magical parenting skills. [IMG]

Thank you very much...I need the encouragement every now and then. My girls are 19 months and exhausting, but I wouldn't want it any other way!!!

It IS exhausting. My twins are physically exhausting, and my 2 year old is mentally exhausting. [IMG]

How nice of you to recognize that! [IMG] I think it's all difficult in different ways! I think there are benefits to staying at home and working so [IMG] to US ALL!!! [IMG]

I have to admit that when I was in the working world I had a pretty stressful job, since I have been home with the babies, I really understand now how hard it is to be a SAHM! Though I wouldn't trade it for the world! Watching my boys grow and learn every hour and be the object of their smiles and laughters is worth the exhaustion!

Thank you very much, sometimes that is nice to hear! I think that work out of the home parents are awesome too. But I have done both. Thank you and hats off to the work out of the home moms.

I want to thank you to!! Its something that we rarely hear if we ever hear it at all. I too would have it no other way. I'm tired as can be at night and barely make it past their bed time but so worth it.

    Thank you

I really appreciated that encouragement, especially right now...I have been so stressed. I am going through my finals for the semester, first semester I attempted since the girls were born. I am have been swamped with DVD's to make, and the girls have been sick the past week, and Thursday was my birthday...I thought I might get to enjoy it, but we spent the whole day running crazy to make it to every family event [IMG] HOWEVER, I don't think I could be a working mom...I have to say hats off to you! I think we just adjust to whatever role we take on, and for me to go to a working mom would be just as hard as a working mom going to a SAHM...we all deserve a round of applause whether working or staying at home...it is hard either way...AND to those of you who have other children besides the twins...MORE APPLAUSE!!! These two are plenty for me...for now!

Thanks - that's nice to hear - it is exhausting, but it definately has it's rewards [IMG] I don't see how you working mom's manage it - if I had to think about something outside the house, I would loose it - plus to come home to kids after a long hard day at the office...

Frankly I don't see how any of us do it, but we do don't we - yay for all our twinstuff MOMMIES [IMG]

I just say yay for twin mommies, we are so awesome. Just step back and look at what we all can do! And we smile about it to boot!

I do both (work out of the home part time) and I think both come with unique sets of challenges all at the same time...

people ask me all the time "how do you do it?" My only response is "I just do"...I wouldn't know how else to answer that question!

it takes special parents to have multiples!
