I remember when I was pregnant with the girls and I was so worried with all the complications I was having and I mentioned it to my Dr, and she made it clear that this was just the beginning of a lifetime of worry! I had no idea at the time of how true that is!!

Kaylyn has fallen off my bed (and it's not a bed that is low to the ground by any means), and they both have smashed their fingers countess times. We haven't experienced biting or falling out of the tub just yet, but I am sure my time is coming. My babies worried me to no end from the day they were born at 28 weeks, and it pretty much hasn't stopped since.

The only thing mine have not done is fallen over the tub side yet but with each new way they manage to injure themselves, I manage to lose several years of my life due to worry over of it. Oh the fun of parenting!

My girls have smashed their finger in a drawer once (don't remember which one it was) and of course they have scared me, but that's it. We don't let them sleep in our bed and I am very strict about no standing in the tub. If you stand in the tub you are taken out of the tub, so they learned that one quick. Their legs are too short to get in the tub by themselves. (They have short legs like their dad ;))

They have done everything apart from fall over the tub side! I have very accident prone children x

Mine haven't fallen, except the time she was swaddled in her boppy on a chair at 2 months (couldn't go anywhere) and the dog pulled the swaddle....

OMG! This reminds me of the time where a family friend.. a 16 year old family friend.. was playing with Anthony on her bed. One minute she's playing patty-cake with him and the next she decides to get under the blankets and doze off. Yup.. you guessed it! I was in the other room when I heard a 'THUMP' He had fallen off the bed onto his face! Luckily, he was okay, but I now know never ever ever to leave my baby in another room with her alone again!

Since I have 3 kids I wasn't sure how to vote but decided if it has happened to one of them then I answered yes.
Older DD has fallen out of our bed butnot while a baby. The twins have only ever taken naps in there.
Older DD also had her finger smashed in a ladder on a slide when she was in daycare. It squished it and split open, like a grape. She had to have stitches. Very bad. It hurt me all through my body just to look at it and I cried the first time we had to remove bandages and clean it. DH had to actually do this.
Also DD has scared me more times than I care to remember, She is fearless. She will climb anything and everything with no regards how high or dangerous it may be. For this reason I do not look forward to 2 boys following behind her.

I remember feeling so guilty when I was changing Annalise on a bed in a hotel room. It was a makeshift changing table. I finished with her and was cleaning up when she rolled off. She screamed and cried for 5 minutes straight. I remember it so vividly. Talk about mother's guilt!
