Has anyone else experienced this, or does anyone know what it is/means?

I've been on bedrest for a while now, and have been working from home. Today was my last day of working at home, so it's total bed rest from this point on.

Anyway, about an hour ago, after I finished my last bit of work (been sitting upright all day typing), I got up to make myself something to drink. All of a sudden, I got this terrible pain that felt like my pubic bone splitting in two. I tried walking back to the couch, and I could hardly move, the pain was so intense. It took me several minutes to make it back to the couch.

Now, laying on the couch, it doesn't hurt as bad, but each time I try to get up to go to the bathroom, it feels like I'm splitting in two. While laying down on the couch, I do get these sharp pains "down there" that feels like the girls have a crow bar in there, trying to pry me apart!

Can they be dropping already? Or is this probably just my body expanding to allow for the babies to get bigger? What in the world is this pain? I have a doctor's appointment with my OB (plus sonogram) tomorrow at 1pm, but I'm just curious if anyone else has experienced this. I'm at 29 weeks, 2 days today.

Any feedback would be much appreciated, ladies!

Ouch. I don't know but that sounds like more then just a little baby moving around?

Oh yes I had it.... felt like someone took a crow bar to your hoo hoo !!!! I also had braxton hicks contractions "irritable uterus" so they would go on for hours. Both symptoms eventually went away but it seemed to take forever !!! I remember it being one of the worst pains I had while pregnant. You feel like it is just dissolving away down there. All I can recommend it when you do get some relief try to get everything done, or shop as much as you can online, it really is so difficult because you get short windows of less symptoms and then the next week something new comes up.

    hugs to you,

    Heather

I had it, it was awful! Try some ice and tylenol. I never did find a way to ease the pain, hopefully someone else has some suggestions.
