Has anyone Had this?

About a week ago I started to pee blood, went to the doc and after antibiotics, sono on my kidneys, no UTI , or yeast infection, complete blood test, they cant find what is wrong, I go to a urologist on monday and I am scared to death of what they will say, I have done some research and found that one cause could be bladder cancer! help me please.. had anyone heard of this??

 

Stop doing research!! It seems every symptom you google will lead to a cancer symptom!!
Please let us know what the urologist says on Monday!! :hug:


PS-I cant tell you how many times I have had some weird symptom and when I googled it I was just sure I had cancer. It is scary and I am not down playing your fears what so ever.

I agree do not look on the internet about things, I know that is hard not to do. :hug: I do that so much and then worry myself so much.

This happened to me 2 weeks ago, cleared up and started again last night. My Renal Sono did show one kidney stone and the technician said that it is very difficult to see kidney stones while pregnant with an ultrasound, they would normally use a CT scan.

No infections here either, just feeling very uncomfortable. Although I googled and saw cancer as well, I also read so much about blood in urine being rather common. Hard to believe.

Hopefully your's will clear up soon with no pain or infection. Good Luck!!

 

That happened to me when I had kidney stones, but I also had a lot of pain. I agree - google will make you crazy!!!

 

I google EVERYTHING! Literally :friends: so dont feel bad, it does sound like what it may be (kidney stuff) wish you well!!

 

I was hospitalized for pre-e and they had the little test strips in the bathroom so I decided to dip my urine. Well it showed that I had blood in my urine. Of course I was concerned so I asked the doc's why, well the only thing they did was get a big kick out of the fact that I tested my own urine, they thought it was hillairious and said it was the first time they had anyone do that.. Anyway they wern't concerned at all and said it is common during pregnancy. At least everyone got a good laugh.

 

Thank you all so much for the encouraging words! you have no idea how much better it makes me feel, and I know google is the devil LOL but its hard to stay away when your on bed rest and have nothing else to do through out the day the bleeding is getting worse, now I small clots in my urine as well, no pain at all. so weird.. any how I will let you know how it goes on monday.. Baby shower on sunday will hopefully keep my mind off of it for a while hope everyone has a great weekend!!
