Ouch!!! I sneezed a couple of times today and heard a pop both times. I was in agony. I couldn't move and was in tears. I went to the chiropractor and she said I probably popped some of the soft ribs in my lower left back. I didn't even know there were ribs there. I guess I really hurt the muscles in between them. What a nightmare. I swear once you get over one thing, there is another issue around the corner. I just pray I'm feeling better for my baby shower this weekend. Just wondering if anyone else experienced this and if they had any advice to make the pain go away. She said I can use heat on it and that's about it. Hopefully, I'll feel better tomorrow if I can get any sleep.

Oh I hope you feel better soon. I re-herniated a disc in my lower back by coughing, so I can totally relate. It's good your chiropractor was able to get you re-alined today and hopefully by tomorrow you will be feeling better.

Feel better soon. Back pain sucks. At least it is muscular. Take it easy and you should be better for your shower.

I have, my dh popped my back and that is what happened. It took a while to feel the pain but when I did it took my breath away. I was able to have it massaged back but it still took a bit to feel completely normal.

You poor thing. I did something similar when I was about 29/30 weeks along. I heard a giant pop and thought I cracked a rib - hurt like H*LL!! I felt better a couple of days later, but man...that was painful. I hope you feel better soon!

Thanks girls. It still hurts pretty bad. I feel really sore today. Probably from the chiropractor. I think it just needs to heal on its own. I think I'll skip going to see her until it is better. I barely slept last night. I'm praying that I can get some sleep tonight. That just makes everything seem so much worse. At least I know I'm not alone. I swear after this pregnancy is over, I'll think getting a headache is nothing.

    Hi Christie,
I'm sorry you aren't feeling much better today! I think it was a good two-three days until I felt better and then it was like, "YES! I can breathe!" Hang in there... :hug99:

When I'm pregnant, I have about 3 ribs that constantly pop out. IT is VERY painful and I go to the chiro every week for a few minutes of releif each time. I can actually feel them moving out of place again about 10 minutes after the correction. It's worth going for those few minutes of relief though!

Sorry you ar egoing through this. Hopefully, yours will stay in place!

I would recommend to keep going ot the chiro. THey can use the electrode thingy's (can't remember the name) that really help relax the muscles deep down. Yes, you can be sore after a correction but it really does help in the long run. ALso use ice. I know it's not so comfortable but it helps alot with the swelling around the area you got corrected.

    Feel better soon!
