I am having lots of ligament pain and also having a hard time making it through a store or walking long distances. It begins to feel like there is a bowling ball in my pelvis and my ligaments start hurting. Is this normal? My appt with the dr. is the 27th, should I wait til then to mention it or should I call now. This pregancy is so different from my singleton. I feel like a newbie!!

Hi Rachel ...you had replied to one of my other posts about pressure...I just noticed we have the same due dates [IMG]

I feel like that at times too...when I saw my doc last week , he didnt think it was a big deal because of being pregnant with twins, but then I read other articles on the net , that it could be a sign of IC or pre-labor ...scares me ...

Ive been on bed rest since week 12 , so I dont get out a whole lot , but if I do go to the grocery store, usually I ride the motorized scooters they offer....

Good Luck , hope it gets better for you, mine seems to come & go

I know how you feel. I am having a hard time walking also. I often have to take a brake and sit for a few minutes before I can continue. I feel as though others are running around me I walk so slow. My doctor said it is from baby A's butt sitting on my pubic bone. Today I went to Lowes with dh and he said I could hold on to his arm to help support me. I told him thanks, but I may waddle into him and knock him into the shelf. [IMG]

I posted a similar issue and question so I know how you feel! Amen to singleton pregnancies being way easier. I just started taking it easier and not expecting so much of myself and it seems to help. Hope you feel better!!!

Right around 17-19 weeks is when I really had to start taking it easy. I litteraly felt like I got beat up at the end of the day if I was too active. You have to just listen to your body. When you are tired, take a nap, lay down with your feet up if you start getting really achey. You are going to get all kinds of aches and pains. As long as the pain isn't severe and goes away after relaxing for a while it is probably normal. I don't do anywhere near as much as I was doing before and I am a lot bigger, but I don't feel as sore all the time. Things are really stretching around this time for you.

I waddled early from pelvic pain. It was pretty awful all the way through the pregnancy. Baby A was breech and her butt was wedged in my pelvis. The OB/Gyn said no vacuuming, put your legs together and swing in/out of the car/bed, avoid any kind of twisting.
