Happy Day!

Even though these first few months have been rough, it's getting so much better! I've been getting out of the house everyday to do something fun for my toddler, and it's making the days go by so much faster! The babies seem to love being outside (and by "love" I mean sleep the entire time!) and I'm finally getting the hang of getting us all packed up and in the car (even though it's still like a 30 minute process). I even ventured for my first solo trip with the 3 kids to target. It was actually fun!

And today is my 5th wedding anniversary! I made a slideshow of the last five years for DH set to our favorite songs. It was a big hit! We got take-out and my neighbor watched our 2 year old. We watched a movie and just hung out. It was great. Anyway...that's all. I just wanted to share some good news for once instead of always freaking out! Thanks for *listening*

Reyna, congrats! And I love what you did for your DH! How sweet! Things will get better, I promise.

 

Good for you for getting out. It does get easier. You're babies are at about the same age as mine were when I felt the same thing. It was like 'hey life isn't over - I can do this!" Happy Anniversary!

 

Thanks for the positive post Renya - it gives me hope that these days/nights will eventually get easier.

At 11 weeks the fog lifted, the clouds parted, and the sun started shining here too! My colicky baby woke up one morning and gave me a smile that said "Okay, Mum, you passed the test - enough of my crying." and he has been a different baby ever since! Life is good.

 

Happy Anniversary Reyna!! And thanks for the positive post. It's good to hear other moms are making it through. We're at 6 wks now and it gives me hope that this will get easier soon!
