Well, we made it! Our little ones are now a year old. Thank you to all of you for your support and friendship on this board! It's been so helpful and comforting. I appreciate it all very much.

Today we had a little family party here at our house, and it was a very fun day. They LOVED the cake (not surprising...they are my children after all!) and had a great time playing with their new toys! (In case anyone is wondering what to get their one-year olds--the fisher price Laugh n' Learn playhouse and grand piano are awesome! They also got 2 shopping carts which they are loving!) This past year has been so incredible. Incredibly fun, Incredibly exhausting, Incredibly humbling, and Incredibly joyful. I'm including some links to some before and after pictures, as well as some pictures of them having their cake and eating it too!

Omg, the pictures were adorable! Her dress was gorgeous! The cake ones had me cracking up, as they always do.

I ditto your comment about the Laugh N Learn Home and Baby Grand Piano. My girls received the same thing for their first birthday and LOVE them.
