Thank you! We are so proud that we got through a whole year, although it is sad to say goodbye to those little babies.

We have been so busy the last year that it's hard to remember all the details. Basically the first 4 months we were running on raw instinct and adrenaline, feeding the babies around the clock and getting no sleep. Then it was a new world when the girls started sleeping through the night at 4 months and they got playful and fun. From about 6 months to one year, the time flew by, it seems. They learned to sit up, crawl, pull up and cruise on furniture, and they play together. It's hard to believe we almost have toddlers! Anyways, I feel really good that we raised twins for the first year, and I'm looking forward to many more milestones.

The girls had their first birthday party yesterday with family and friends. They had their cousins and friends there all between one and two years old and they all had a blast playing. The girls devoured their cake and were properly covered with frosting from head to toe. The theme for the party was "pink", and we had pink plates, pink ballons, and a pink cake. They took a long nap after the party and slept very well last night. We are excited to see what the next year brings.
