Thank-you so much for the Birthday Greetings! It's been an adventure this year. I miss those tiny babies!!!! It's been a blast having twins. I never understood the work or pleasure that would come with two babies at once instead of just one. The special bond between the two has only grown. They still sleep as close as they can to one another. I find them on top of each other sound asleep all the time. They are so sweet. I can't wait to see how their relationship develops, because right now they are inseperable.

We spent the day on Sunday at a hockey game for my older son and then went shopping for the twins party. We had a simple gathering of great-grandparents, grandparents, and my sisters family. I didn't want to overwhelm they with a whole lot of people. Not to mention the expense of a huge party. All 4 of my boys birthdays fall at the end of May. :lol: They did great! Jesse was really involved with opening up the gifts. Joshua was too, but also wanted to play with his new toys. My tradition with my kids is to make them wait on cake, ice cream, or really anything with sugar until their first birthday. They LOVED their ice cream and cake. But then had hives from the ice cream. They definitely have a sensitivity to milk right now. Oops! After a bath in the kitchen sink they played and slept GREAT!

I can't believe we have all made it to a year already. At times it has seemed like the neverending story, but at others like it was flying by. I honestly believe it's harder right now than it was when they were infants. With all the feedings and nursings, holding them at the ice rink during games, it's just tiresome. I'm hoping that once they are walking it will get a little easier at home at least.

Thank-you all for your support this year! This has been a blessing to me and my family! Keep up the good work!!! We will miss you as we move on to the 1-4 board!
