Dh always makes a big deal of out the Christmas cards and all. Being that I am Jewish, it is only fair to do it with Hanukkah too. Only early November was extremely busy for us and I only realized that Hanukkah was next week about a week and a half ago. Dh is the photographer in the family but there was not enough time for a Hanukkah photo shoot (they are asleep when he gets home) and he won't let me take them to be professionally done. So I took a few myself. We had to merge two because there was not one of both of them together or 3 to do a collage. I have to say, it came out pretty good. And they are both looking at the camera AND smiling!!

    Very cute little latkes! :)

We are a mixed couple as well (he's Jewish, I was raised Catholic). We usually tend to do holiday seasonal cards that either are not tied to one holiday or combine both in a funny inoffensive way. However this year I think I'm going reindeerish, which I guess is Christmasy, but definitely not Christian...

I wanted to do that. I even suggested doing a New Years card and sending them out right before Christmas. It would get us some more time (and more money) and we could do something really nice. But nope, it has to be a really Christmasy Christmas card and I couldn't not do anything for my side of the family.

Thanks for all the compliments everyone.

Great pics. We are a mixed family of Jewish and Catholic here. I usually do something along the lines of a snowman type photo card and try and include everyone. One of our Jewish friends does the New Year card thing too, which I think is a great idea.

    What cuties!

If you have a photo editing program, you can download a free Hannukah card template at the link below then place their photo into the template:

Thanks for the help but we are good with ordering the cards. It was just the photo, which usually is fine too but I did it this time not dh and I am not as savvy as he is with all the editing and such. Thanks again though and happy holidays!
