I'm 33 weeks and my feet don't go numb but they hurt really bad from swelling. My hands have started hurting really bad and they're not super swollen but they hurt and they are numb. I don't know if it's circulation or what but it's not a good feeling. I mentioned it to the nurse at my appointment today and she said it could be carpel tunnel? She said they could get me braces for my hands/wrists that may help if I wanted. I'm so close to the end and I just sit on the couch all day so it seems like more trouble than it's worth. Ask your Doc / nurse about it and see if there's anything to help relieve the numbness.

Im a lot like Lisa, My feet dont go numb, but they HURT. they look like sausages by the end of the day from all the swelling. My hands hurt too... but mostly in the mornings, when they are tight and swollen. I think a lot of my hand issues are I type for my job. Most of my day is spent typing away!

I would mention it to your doctor and see if they can recomend anything!

I'm pretty sure they aren't swollen..usually my feet are at the end of the day but not my hands at all. They fall asleep for a few minutes from my fingertips to my elbows or my feet to my knees. It's just getting annoying.

the tips of my right hand are numb but no numbness in my feet. doc says it is probably from swelling around nerves in my arms. i wear a wrist brace at night and some during the day. it helps some. i am also going to a chiropractor to see if that relieves some pinching. i read somewhere that drinking cranberry juice helps relieve swelling as it helps filter fluids from the body. i do use a computer all throughout the day at work so i know that doesn't help either... i have read other places about pregnancy induced carpal tunnal syndrome... everyone i talk to says it goes away after the babies are born.

No numbness in the feet and the swelling is minimal. However, my hands get the pins and needles tingly fall asleep feeling a lot... they always do when I'm pg. I hold them over my head and move them around a bit and kinda work it out. It's annoying BUT it does go away almost immediately after birth. :)

I get that a lot. Esp the fingers going numb and stiff. I can even bend my fingers when I get up in the morning. Treating them with hot water helps. I have also been told some quick massages and an exercise that can help u with carpel tunnel.(With computer job..mine's real bad cos of the pregnancy).

check with ur Chiro and try gets some massage tips ... they really help.
