    Hello,

My Mom for awhile has been asking me if I heard of the hands free feeding system. I just saw what it looked
like on line. It basically looks like a bottle with a tube in it going to the pacifier or nipple for each baby to feed.
I don't think it will work very well for when they are infants. But it seems so maybe once they hit 5 or 6 months?
I don't know?? I would like to know what you all think of this? Has anyone used this before? Your oppinions or
any kind of feed back would be great. Thanks!!

I am currently pregnant but I have had friends that have used these and swear by them! You are right though, there kids were a little bit older when they started to use them.

Someone gave me 2 as a gift and I just sold them on EBAY. My kids could not keep it in. To me it was terrible. I know some other moms who love them though!

My SIL bought me a couple Podees, as her friend with twins swore by them. My kids (who were major pacifier addicts I might add) could not get the hang of them and could not suck hard enough on them to keep the nipple in their mouths.

We loved ours. Singletons can often use the Podees at birth but twins tend to need to be 2-3 months old. It took a few days to get my girls used to it. I held the nipple in for them at first and slowly decreased the pressure with which I was holding it in. This was at 2.5 months old and it took Ainsley about 3 days to become a pro and Sierra about 5. It was totally worth it as it allowed me to hold both babies during feedings and to feed them in the car, stroller, or at restaurants.

We sell the Podees on our website and we have had many parents of multiples who were able to use the Podees soon after birth but it's far more common to wait a couple of months. All the singletons I know were able to use the bottles right away.

Thanks for all your feedback. Sounds like every baby is different. They don't sound too $$, so maybe I'll try??
I'm trying to figure everything out... but I guess you really don't know until you try. I've already spent quite
a bit on a few things. My shower is this weekend, hopefully I get some useful things.

I could have TOTALLY used this when I had my son when he was around 6mths old. He was in a DOC Band (helmet therapy) for his Plagiocephaly and we had to drive to Atlanta every other week - which is 3.5 hours EACH WAY. I had to do one of the trips by myself and OMG was it the trip from ****!!!!!

Someone I know has twins - and her old boss had twins, too - and apparenly she used this system and highly recommended it. It might be something I will purchase in the future, but until I see that I have a need for it, I don't think I would get one - or register for one. KWIM?
