    v-tech or leapster?
the kids have the console v-tech for the tv and love it. we are looking into getting them a hand held system for on the go.
cost wise we'd be better off going with v-tech sence the games can interchange
but i like the looks and games of leapster and and it seems more for their age range. 3 1/2.
what do yours have and are they worth the money?

We've never had or played the V-Tech, but our 2nd son got a Leapster 3 yrs ago & we love it. I actually picked up another for this Xmas & so the twins will each have one.

If you get it, go ahead & get the recharging base. It is terrific.

Josh has a Leapster too. I highly recommend it!

We actually bought one leapster and one vtech hanheld system when we took our trip to Norway/England in May for the plan ride and I figure the kiddos would have to learn to share and this way there was more game options. They've done very well in taking turns because if they don't they lose the system, but we only let them play during travels or appointments. My ds prefers the vtech system and my dd prefers the leapster, but they love the handheld system.
