hand foot mouth disease

    Well I took DS to the doctor the other day because he had a bad rash on his bottom and looked to be spreading over his legs and other areas. The doctor looked at his throat and said he has "hand foot mouth disease" The doctor looked at DD but didn't display any symptoms yet - until we got home. Poor thing she has it worse then her brother. It bothers her so bad she can't BF I have to try and get her to drink from her sippy cup. The dr. said I didn't have to worry that it is uncommon for adults to get it - well she was wrong, I got a sore throat last night and now I have the ulcers all over the inside of my mouth - of course I would get it - I get everything. Atleast now I know what they are going through.

    you poor thing, I heard it really stinks. we had it go around one time at the daycare I worked at and one of the caregivers got it, said the sores were really uncomfortable. I hope everyone gets better fast!

    Ugh...poor babies, poor you!
    We've managed to avoid it, but I've also heard it's really painful and not fun at all. I hope you all recover quickly!

    My older ones had it years ago and I feel for you. DS had it first and wasn't quite as bad as when dd had it. She was so stinking sad!

    oh no!!! I'm sorry - I have heard that is miserable!!!! I hope it won't last long!!
