I know it is not yet September but all the kids stores are putting out costumes and they told me they sell out way before Halloween so I'm trying to think of what is cute for b/g twins. If I should match them or have them be unique. Has anyone thought of what they are going to be doing for their kids first halloween?? I'm so excited for this part of the year to come....halloween, birthdays, christmas! :yahoo:

DD is so petite and little. (18 lbs. at 21 months old) and my cousin was calling her tinkerbell this summer at the beach. Hence....

tinkerbell and peter pan for the babes

    Older kids, not sure yet.

I think I am going to go with either salt & pepper shakers or farm animals & me as the farmer.

How fun!!! You guys have such cute ideas! I'm a little jealous! ;)
My husband won the battle of what our cuties will be - Jedi Knights. I relented when I discovered what he has in store for them, homemade cloaks and flashlight light sabers. Should make for funny photos!

Alison- do you already have your tinkerbell/peter pan costumes? if not, there's another "on-line" friend that is probably going to sell hers to me, but the peter pan is a 2T which might (probably) be way too big for gage- he'll be in 18mo stuff this fall. the tink one is 12mo, so should fit keira but if i decide not to buy, do you want me to have her contact you?

If we get invited somewhere, I was thinking of dressing them as Minnie because I also have a costume. If not, I'm just going to buy them a Halloween outfit and go visiting.

We are going to be a sunflower and a bumble bee....although I had considered an angel and a devil...that would also be appropriate, heehee!

Although I am still expecting, my boys should be here in time for Halloween. I was wanting to do M&M's or thing 1 & thing 2 since I have Cat in Hat costume, However, in Babies'R'Us I stumbled upon the cutest little Cowboy costumes ever!! So I just had to get them. We have a dog that will be dressed as their horse and my grandmother has an Indian costumes for hubby & I...for a great family picture!!

Aria - so far we have a dragon costume but we've come to accept that nothing is set in stone for her until the day of Halloween :)

I haven't decided for sure, but the ones I'm thinking of are:

Thing 1 & 2 and DS would be the Cat in the Hat
Elmo (DS), Cookie Monster, and Big Bird
    Football player (DS) and cheerleaders

I am trying to talk DH into dressing up too, so I'm trying to think of costumes for the 5 of us to all match.

My boys were Thing 1 and Thing 2 a couple of years ago and I was Cat in the Hat- people loved the costumes. One Step Ahead is where I bought their costumes and they were absolutely beautiful!!!!! Not sure about this year yet- they are 5 now and like to make their own choices :( LOL!!!!!
