Just curious who else is already thinking about halloween costumes??

I haven't started looking for ideas yet but have definitely been thinking about it! I really want to do something creative ... er, at least that's always my thought! Peanut butter and Jelly, pirates, M&M's (liking this one!) ... Have you thought about any?

Those all sound really cute. I haven't even given it any thought. They have a costume shop that opens once a year here in town. I'm going to stop in there and see if anything inspires me.

I'm doing pirates for my b/g. I'm going to check walmart first because their costumes are cheaper, but if not I can get them each a costume on ebay for under $20. My oldest ds is going to be Indiana Jones, and my oldest dd wants to be Tinkerbell.

I know it's not to original for twins but I'm thinking about the Thing 1 and Thing 2 costumes. We have these big fluffy wigs that I think I can turn blue with hair spray-paint. I was actually brainstorming all morning...

My Orion is obsessed with Lions. He roars all the time. So Orion will be Orion the Lion. I love this one. Sebastian has taken to using his feet as a second set of hands. I've started calling him Monkey Toes/Monkey Nose. So a monkey is in order for him.

I had these nailed down a month ago- I  Halloween!

Last year, my DD was Little Miss Muffet and DS was a spider. I thought they were so cute
This year, they have their input into their costumes... and DD wants to be a bunny and DS wants to be Super Why...so much for costume themes in this house anymore

That is an awesome idea. I might steal it and use it too.

AWWWW! The lion is sooo cute!

OMG! That is such a cute theme! I'm finding that they have much cuter themes for boy/girl outfits and not so much for just boys really. My DH rolled his eyes at me when I suggested doing a theme and wonders why I can't just buy what's in the stores. Now what fun would that be???

Cute costumes! Last year they were ketchup and mustard. This year I would like them to be Mario and Luigi and find the Princess costume for Hannah if I can:)
I like them to be all matchy matchy too---while I can get away with it!!!:)

We are so doing this in a year or two... although without another LO, I will have to be Princess Peach and DH will have to be King Koopa.

Yes I did:) In my royal cheapness I literally peeled the labels off of our condiments and stuck it to their shirts:) I painted birthday hats for the "lids":) I just didn't want to spend a lot of money when neither could walk and we werent even going anywhere! We did have to flip a coin over who was going to be generic bc DH couldn't find Heinz mustard anywhere!!

    Here they are:

OMG, that is too awesome!!! Those costumes turned out great; what cuties! :D

I'm still not on the ball and haven't decided. Part of me wants to dress them up like Ewoks or Jawas because it would be funny, but the other part of me is lazy and cheap, and doesn't want to take the time or spend the money. ;)

ON has a Hamburger costume that we're trading in either a dalmation or tiger costume for when it's available... BUT I just saw that Gymboree has a hot dog costume... the largest size is 6-12m and it won't fit the boys, but it would have been so cute to have a hamburger and a hot dog :(

Love all the ideas! The ketchup & mustard are too cute!!!
I have a candy corn outfit I made for my DS when he was 1. Thinking about using it for one of my girls and maybe come up with something to go along with it?? Maybe a pumpkin? any ideas?
Here's a picture of the candy corn (it has a little white hat to go w/ it too!)

there are several costume websites... search for "toddler" or "infant" costumes on an internet search then search one of the websites... there are so many cute ideas!

I did gnomes last year - and they were SO cute! I'm tempted to see if I can make the costumes fit them this year with a few adjustments.
    gnome search
I copied the flower gnome and the garden gnomes.

I'm glad I'm not the only one already thinking about this! I have b/g twins so these were my ideas:

A bumblebee and a flower - pretty standard
Pebbles and Bam Bam - which really fits them
A crab and a drama queen - which is even MORE fitting
I think I have a duck costume so maybe something that goes with that?

My oldest DS wants to be a pirate! He has a beautiful dragon costume that he wore last year, so next year the twins are going to be a dragon and a princess. I agree that there is probably only a small window of time where they will let me dress them all matchy!

If I had b/g twins I would totally do the pebbles and bam bam costumes! Too adorable! Maybe you could all be ducks, including yourself! Not sure if you're into dressing up but that would be super cute! (I don't dress up, at least, not until my kids pressure me too! LOL  )
