I know I know...It's EARLY. But I thought this could start some ideas for people possibly. Afterall, it will be here in 3 short months! Anyways... Last year my boys were Mario and Luigi from Super Mario Brothers. This year, with having Annabella, we want to continue to do something themed with the three of them.

So-you ready for this idea? Not sure how I can do it or will do it.. But looking at my kids...pretty darn funny!

    Nicholas: Alfalfa
    Anthony: Spanky
    Annabella:Darla

    The Little Rascals!

Here are some photos-which shows how they each TOTALLY fit the part!

    Anthony: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=30548965&l=1b9d961755&id=1097360034
    Both boys: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=30555709&l=ac34c9b101&id=1097360034

Anyone else know what they are doing? Or thinking of doing?

I have also been thinking about halloween. Last year Jake was a monkey and Josh was a banana. I would also like to do another theme with them. Jake really likes Cookie Monster so I was thinking Elmo & Cookie Monster. I've looked online and those costumes cost a lot. I got the monkey on craigslist for $5 and the banana at TJ Max for $15.

I started looking for their costumes last August and bought the monkey during Labor Day weekend so I don't think it's too soon.

Super cute! Not sure if we are going to be able to do this, but DH and I were tossing the idea around of having them dress as Sonny and Cher. Neither of them have much hair, I am not sure if I could get some kind of wig on them or not. It's not written in stone and I do have to come up with a back up idea.

I've been thinking about it as well actually! I have a Dorothy costume so I was thinking about dressing the boys as the lion and scarecrow. Now I just have to convince my DH to dress as the Tin Man!

Halloween is a Saturday this year, and it just happens to be the day of the Florida-Georgia game. We're huge Gator fans, and we live smack in the middle of Bulldog country. SO, I'm really gonna have to dress my kids up as a Florida football player and cheerleaders this year. :D

I think it is a fabulous idea.....and btw has given me some ideas for upcoming years.
This year the boys are going as little farmers. My parents neighbors were in Texas and brought the boys back little straw farmer hats. They are going to wear those with tractor t-shirts and overalls and I have started watching for some cowboy boots for them. I figured they can play with their little sand shovel and rakes while we are out and about.
I LOVE the Mario and Luigi idea. I have to figure out a way to incorporate all thos ecute ideas before they want to pick out their own costumes :)

mine are a little older - first halloween they went as a Steelers football player and an Eagles cheerleader (yes I have a bipartisan household LOL) 2nd halloween they went as Tigger and Piglet, last year as Elmo and Abby Cadabby - not sure this year, maybe Dora and Diego - my daughter is a brunette with brown eyes and would make a great Dora!

My two are going to be Alice and the Mad Hatter this year. I'm happy that I have one more time before they start making up their own minds as to what they want to be for Halloween.

The first year they were USF cheerleaders (Yes, Royce was too, I had a USF Cheerleading outfit for boys) and they were a skeleton and a devil. Last year they were Charlie Brown and Sally.

I love Halloween. It's my favorite holiday and my anniversary and it's just so much fun.

What cute ideas!!! I love the Alice and Mad hatter!!!
I've been thinking we're going to do Pebbles and Bam Bam and dress the dogs up (70lbs labs) as dino's...
I agree that we have to enjoy being able to have full control for as long as possible! My 9 year old has been something Star Wars related for the past 3 years

Last year the twins were Flying Monkeys from the Wizard of Oz and Raegan was Dorothy. This year we are going to Disney in October. We're doing a Princess meal so I'm going to get the girls all Princess outfits that they can wear at the princess meal.

I decided a week before Halloween LAST year what the dudes would be this year… I am coping a set of two year old twins I saw last year at a twin Halloween gathering… The Skipper and Gilligan… my boys are ID but one has fat cheeks he shall be The Skipper… and the clothes can be used after Halloween… the trick will be to get them to keep the hats on :hi: …

The "babies" are going to be Candy Corn as of right now (I got 2 costumes on clearance at Kohl's last year for $3.00 each!). And Lennon, who is 5 and likes to choose his own costume, is going to be Wolverine from the X-Men. Costumes are much cuter when you get to choose them!
