Halloween Costume Suggestions?

Hi ladies! I need costume suggestions for my girls! I had in mind ladybugs, bumblebees or Abby Cadabby from Sesame Street. I'm not thrilled with any of those ideas. Help!

Last year when the girls were almost 2 they were a ladybug and bumblebee, it was really cute. I ordered the costumes from www.buycostumes.com. They were inexpensive and easy for them to wear.

 

Awe, I think ladybugs would be really cute.

 

Not sure yet what DD is going to be..but DS is going to be a Giraffe...so I might just have to get her an animal costume..zebra or lion perhaps!

 

My sister really wants the girls to be Hello Kitty and her twin sister Mimi! I have another idea for this year, but I think we'll do it next year (assuming I still have a say in what they wear by then!).

 

What about themes, one year I did a bee and a flower. They don't have to be the same things.

Lady Bug costumes are on sale right now at Old Navy. I like lady bug and butterflies, that's what my girls are going to be.

Ha ha! How funny! All three of these are exactly what we are considering. I bought my girls dress up dresses and am going to iron on an Abby print and then I have wings and need to just get the ponytails...I think. It's turning out to be more work than it's worth, so I might nix it. I have been looking around for other ideas, and came across a ladybug and bumblebee costume that were cute on Amazon for only $10. I'm going to look around for other stuff, so if I see anything good, I'll let you know.

 

What about pumpkins? My girls had the cutest pumpkin costumes last year from Children's Place...they wore black tights and black onesies under them!

 

I want to do a caterpillar and butterfly for my twins. My mom did give me a duck and lady bug that she got on sale for like $5 last year. THey are darling, but I think I want to coordinate them while I still can.
