Any ideas what your LO's are going to be for Halloween?

Also, I'm going to start buying Christmas gifts for the girls soon so I can buy a little at a time. Any ideas for presents?

I bought two little bunny outfits after Halloween last year for $3 each. That's what mine are going to be. I've also already bought them a play kitchen for Christmas.

All of my girls are going to be Disney princesses for Halloween because we are going to Disney in a month and they will need the outfits for our character dinners.

Not sure about Christmas. I wonder if I could regift my oldest DD's kitchen. :p

For halloween, Jake is going to be a lion and Josh will be a giraffe. I was going to do Elmo & Cookie Monster but even used, they cost too much. I decided on vest type costumes because the weather in Chicago is always up in the air for halloween. Last year it was in the mid 70's and their costumes were made out of fleece. At least with the vests, I can dress them in lighter or heavier clothes depending on the weather.

Have not even thought about christmas, and then their birthday is January 5th.

The boys are going to be cowboys for Halloween with overalls, plaid shirts and straw coyboy hats.

For Christmas I am thinking of some puzzles, more tools for their toobench, duplo blocks and some little people stuff.

I'm trying to find alligator and shark costumes for the boys because their nicknames are Nater Gator and Shark Boy.

    No ideas about Christmas yet!

Halloween: We got a pink polka dot dress with a poodle on it for Lily & a scarf and for Max cuffed jeans & a black leather coat. They are going 50's theme so we can reuse the costume pieces. Last year they wore their costumes for 3-hours and I thought it was such a waste.

Christmas: We found one pedal car on craiglist for Max and DH is looking for a Pink one for Lily or a pink retro tricycle. He is trying to relive his childhood with toys he wanted but never got :p . I think its a little early for the previously mentioned toys, but we bought them a kitchen for their birthday that is still in the box that will be put together after Christmas because it's permanent spot will be where the tree is going.

Halloween: Luke is going to be a spider and Sophia Little Miss Muffet.
Christmas/Birthday (in our case): Nursery Rhyme CD's, Tag Junior, Leap Frog Violet doll and the boy version of the same (can't remember his name)...that's what we've got so far.

Halloween we are going to get the boy monster and girl monster from the childrens place.

Christmas- we've gotten a few things, I got some summer clothes to wrap on clearance at old navy. We got the backgardigans DVD and also Yo gabba gabba DVD, a puzzle, and two art smocks so far. We are going to get a double sided easle, and paints, chalk, paint brushes, etc for them. I also want to find Crazy Coupe cars on craigslist, and if I find anything else that I like on Craigslist I'll probably snatch that up as well.

I do not think I will be dressing up the kids for halloween. Although my mom may change my mind...

For christmas I am getting them a play house. clothes, booksand maybe another little toy each. Their birthday is Jan 4th, so I need to figure out something for that day too!

Halloween - I just can't see my kids tolerating a costume as such, so I just ordered two pairs of those glow in the dark skeleton pjs on Gymboree for 1/2 price - a black pair and a pink pair. I figure they can wear them for Hallowee, plus then wear them as jammies afterwards.

    Christmas - undecided.

Christmas--Leap Jr. is on my list after seeing that post, not sure what else yet but I know I'll have a list come Christmas!

Halloween - Both Alexander and Anderson are going to be dinasaurs. We had a dark green dragon costume that came as a hand me down from my nephew and my sister found a light green dinasaur costume as well. My DH hates when the boys are dressed alike but I figure this will be the last year.

Christmas - I am terrible at find age appropriate gifts. I haven't even started to think about it yet.

I think we're going with Raggedy Ann and Andy for Halloween. Kitchen sets seem to be very popular for the Christmas/2nd birthday, but I've decided to hold off until 3 because then the changing table will be out of my dining room and I'll have room for a kitchen set!

No idea for Christmas, but for Halloween I think we're going to dress them as a figure skating pair. There's nothing scarier to me than a brother/sister figure skating duo, right?
