We are thrilled to announce that our boys have finally SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT!

We just moved to Florida and my mom came up to help me pack. The first night she was there she was helping me with the boys. The boys go down at 10:30 and they woke up fussing at 2:30 and I swaddled them, diapered them and layed them back down. They woke up again at 3 and I fed them. My mom thought that it wasn't necessary to feed them because they didn't seem truly hungry. So she suggested to put a pacifier when they fuss and when they are inconsolable then feed them. So, the next night I tried that and I got up probably 20 times to re-plug. (I was not a fan at all of this idea because I do not want to wake up JUST to put a pacifie in, but my mom had 4 kids, so I trusted her). That night they didn't feed until 5:30. The next night I got up maybe 10 times and they fed at 6:00, the next I got up 8 times and they fed at 6:30. Every night I got up less and they slept longer until this whole week I haven't gotten up at all and they have slept until 7:00 - 7:30 (yesterday they slept until 8:30).

    We hope this sticks!!!

Wow, that is great! I may have to try this soon, I think I feed them right away to ensure I get to sleep the rest of the night, but getting up alot to start with to eventually sleep all night may be worth it!
    I wish you sweet dreams!!!!

The trick is to put the pacifier in their mouth before they get to a cry - put it when you hear them fuss or stir - the sucking will put them back to their deep sleep.

Hmm...could this possibly work?? Did your babies take a pacie before doing this? Mine don't really like pacifiers so not sure this approach would work for them. Mine presently wake up 2x/night to feed, and once they start to cry we feed them quite quickly that way we get to go back to bed gain quickly. But, our twins are over 5mnths now and still not STTN...
