HALF WAY THERE!

I'll be 20 weeks tomorrow!!! I can't believe it! I "thought" the first half of the pregnancy was going SO slow until I realized that I'm at 20 weeks. YIKES!!! This baby will come quickly after the holidays are over!

I got to go visit my new nephew in the hospital today...first of all, he was 9#10oz and I couldn't even imagine carrying a child that large in my stomach...lol. Then, the reality dawned on me...as I'm holding him and trying to keep the girls out of things that "this is what life will be like in a few months." Wow, it was scary and also really exciting!

 

YEA for halfway!!! I love that milestone.
Your girls will do great. I remember panicking when DS#1 was 2.5 and I was pregnant with his little brother. He was being SUCH a stinker and I was so worried about how I would manage with a new baby. But, it's amazing what happened right around his 3rd birthday. He became the biggest sweetheart and he was wonderful with the new baby.

 

20 weeks is such a milestone!! COngrats! HOw exciting!

send me some of your tips!!! My DARLING child...my sweetheart of a girl...turned into such a little stinker after age 3...and for some reason it still hasn't let up!!! even past age four!! She never went through a terrible twos at all....was so complacent and obedient most of the time... but from age 3 until this day she is soooo EMOTIONAL!!! and her VOLUME is soooo loud when she gets upset. Anyway, needless to say I'm a little nervous over whether my twins will undergo a similar transformation around age 3... :blink: okay...sorry for the hijack...

I know, I'm scared abouat this too. 2 has been GREAT for us...I've heard that 3 is normally worse than 2 though! AH!!

Congratulations on making it to the halfway point! I can't believe you're there already. :icon_biggrin: Dax was 9.9 lbs and born at almost 42 weeks and it was still easier than carrying the twins to 35 weeks.

 

So, I' a little late posting, but it's great to be half way. I remember hitting 20 weeks and thought it took for ever and would be another forever for the next (not true, the second half is faster!). It does go by fast!!
