How did u get ur lo's to wear hairbows. Mine hate them and pull them out everytime I put them in. Any ideas on how to keep them in their hair???

:gah: That phase was hard for me because I got so frustrated with my dd pulling out the clips. Then I got these clips (I don't remember where  ) that have this non slip stuff on it and when she'd try and pull them off it would hurt her. :good: Not that I wanted her to hurt herself but it worked. Good luck!

:grr: I'm so with you!! Although my daughter will sometimes leave them in and if she does then her dear sweet brother will come over and pull them out :headbang:
I'm really hoping this will pass soon! GL

My DD pulls hers out too, immediately. I've decided to hold off on them for awhile (except for pictures, of course). It's so sad because I recently ordered some custom bows and now she won't even wear them.

the sad part is for my business bows and headbands are a must but now at 19 mths they HATE things in there hair so i tend to stick to the mini elastics and use the mini clips i make overtop-they cant pull them out and at least thier hair stays tidy for a bit:laughing: i use my fancy bows and bands for photos only just enough time to snap the shot--

I'm just so impressed that you guys are putting in hair clips! My little girls a) have virtually no hair and b) have a Mummy so disorganized that what little hair there is barely gets brushed, let alone decorated!!

My girls were just about three before they would actually wear them and leave them alone. I still only get about an hours worth of wear out of them now and they rip them out of their hair and say, "here mommy hold this." My purse is now their bow stash.

My girls will leave their own alone, but pull their sister's out. The non-slip ones wouldn't work for us, because they would hurt each other pulling on them. The only thing that works for us is the little tiny elastics to make teeny litle pony tails.

Ditto! I didn't even bother trying (except for once in a blue moon) until they were around 3. And at 4, most of the days that I send them to daycare with things in their hair, they come home without them. If I'm lucky, I find them in their cubbies.

My purse has a selection of barrettes and ponytail holders in it at all times.
