After reading the post about the dangers of hair I have been extremely careful to watch for hair. Well, Tuesday afternoon I found one wrapped around two of Gracie's toes. I was able to get the hair off and the indent on one of the toes went right away. I noticed Tuesday night while giving her a bath that the other toe still had a line. I had DH check to make sure I got the hair and he said that it looks like it. So last night when she was throwing her "I hate daddy fit" I looked at it again and the line is still there. SHe doesn't act like it hurts. I can squeeze it and bend it and she doesn't cry. So, should I worry about the line?

Is there a similar line on that finger of her other hand? If so, it was probably there before and is just her anatomy.

Can you get a magnifying glass over it to see for sure?

I remember that post about hairs - it freaked me out too!

No, the same toe on the other foot doesn't have the line. It is definately from the hair. I don't have a magnifying glass to look with. Maybe I'll go to the store tonight and buy some Nair, just in case.

I thought someone said to use it?

Nair might irritate her skin, but it's better than a hospital visit. Just be careful and don't let her eat it! [IMG]

I took my son to the er because I couldn't get the hair off and they told me to use Nair if it ever happened again.

wow, i never would have thought.... my mom can't use nair, it burns her, i guess that's why i thought it would be too harsh for a baby.

    This one.

Oh yeah that post freaked me out too. I have very long hair. As well as checking toes I also always check DS's diaper to make sure none gets in there. [IMG]
