Haiku to our friend, night time diapers.

I will never forget
night time diapers again, oiy!
Mess in the morning....

I grabbed one night time diaper and one normal diaper last night, instead of going upstairs to get the second night time diaper I just put it on DD- this morning she woke up soaked and the diaper exploded! the gelly stuff inside was coming out of the top and it was all over her, needless to say she took a bath and mommy will stop being so lazy.

 

Oh yuck! Poor you, that stuff is hard to clean up.

What brand of night time diapers do you use? Even when I change my LOs in the middle of the night I can wring them out in the morning. It's gross, and selfishly, I hate doing laundry.

 

We use Huggies Night Time and have rarely had a problem with them leaking, we started using them as soon as we fit in the smalles size. The girls sometimes sleep 14 hours-without leaks!

 

My kiddos wear a size six diaper... I've contemplated putting them in depends :lol: .

 

It amazes me how much mine pee overnight. I loved your Haiku, it made me giggle! We usually either use Huggies Overnights or Pampers Extra Protection.

 

Love the haiku! And I've also paid the price for my laziness and will never again go without a night time diaper :bad:

Loved the poem. I don't use nighttime diapers is this something I am going to have to start doing? I never used them with DD but we never had a problem with her.

 

We started using them as soon as the girls fit in size 4 diapers- they had so many problems leaking through before we were able to fit in the diapers. We were changing sheets and in some cases bath at 3 am many times throughout the month. Since putting them in night time diapers we've had very little accidents. I still give the girls a cup of milk before bed and their diapers are always full in the morning. I think it depends on the child- if you don't think you need them, I wouldn't' worry about it. The box we bought last night was 19.99 for a box of 56 at WalMart, we usually buy one box a month along with the normal diapers at Costco. Can't wait to be done with diapers!
