So, on Friday, I had a horrible migraine. My DH took the day off work to be with the kids, and he had taken my DD to preschool, but left the boys at home. I could hardly even lift up my head or open my eyes, so I secured them in a corner of the family room, using my body and a couple of laundry baskets (full of clean clothes waiting to be folded). They were playing happily, and I was laying there, counting the seconds until my husband got back home.
I would periodically open my eyes to make sure that all was well. One of those times, I noticed that Ben had started pulling clothes out of one of the baskets, but I was too sick to care. I thought, "If they want to play with some of their clean onesies, that is fine..." Well, the next time I opened my eyes, I looked a little closer. Both boys were rolling in laundry, and holding it up, examining it. And, that was when I realized that they weren't playing with their onesies... they were rolling around happily in a pile of my underpants. Sigh. :rotflmbo: Next year, I know that I will think back on moments like these and think how tame they were...

    Sorry about your migraine. :(

But your story is hilarious! My boys love the clean laundry too - and considering we have laundry baskets full of clean laundry scattered around the house - they have ample opportunities to play in it!

    Hope you are feeling better!

I am glad you got a smile out of something when you were feeling miserable. I hope it goes away fast and that you are feeling better!

I hope you are feeling better. What a cute story!!!

I'll share a related and embarassing one of my own-- when I fold laundry the girls like to 'help.' And one LOVES to wear my panties around her neck like necklaces. She grabs all my panties and puts them on and struts around. What great stories to tell her friends when she is a teenager!
