had the level II u/s today

I just thought I'd post a quick update on our appointment today. The babies checked out great. They are measuring right on schedule with both the boy and girl weighing around 12 oz. My ob said that is right within normal limits, so I'm very happy. I'm looking forward to the next milestone! Thanks for all the support!

Congratulations! We are at right about the same time (they finished my Level II u/s today) and sizes. Did you get any good pictures?

No!! I was so hoping to get some good pictures, but all we got we various angles of blobs! No profile shots or anything. I really can't complain, I'm just glad they were able to measure everything they needed and the babies are doing well....but it would have been nice to have something for the scrapbook! Maybe next time....
How about you? Good pictures? Did you record it? When we got there the technician said, do you have a dvd to record on? I said, "uh...I had no idea that was an option....so,no..." I wish someone would have told me before!

LOL!!!! I felt the same way this time--just a lot of gray blobs! No smiles, no cute poses. I knew intellectually that it was early for polaroid shots of picnics, but... YES!!! I felt the same way!!! If they saw what they needed to see, that would be good enough for me, although at some point I think they were just getting what they could and fudging the rest to get me out of there. That's a great idea about the dvd, although each time I've gone I've felt like they were rushing to get me out of there because I represented "double the workload" for a standard time slot. Won't it be funny to show our kids their u/s pics when they grow up? I went to college with a typewriter!

Good work. When I was around 21 weeks, our babies weighed just about the same. Now they weigh 7lbs & 6 lb 10 oz (which in the last trimester can be off by a pound) -- but that is what you have to look forward to. Keep feeding those babies!!!
